The National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (NTF-ELCAC) is not always aimed at warding off communist terrorists, sometimes it also helps construct farm-to-market road.
This will happen in Barangay Mabiga, in Hermosa where the NTF-ELCAC allotted P12 million for a one-kilometer farm-to-market road.
The Local Government of Hermosa, Bataan PNP, Department of Agriculture Region 3, and the Department of the Interior and Local Government Region 3 toured a muddy road in the said barangay for a validation visit.
“Ang PNP po kasi ang inatasan ng NTF-ELCAC para maging liaison officer sa ating community at iparating sa ating department heads ang needs nila,” said P/Maj. Emerson Coballes, Hermosa Police chief.
One of the mandates of NTF-ELCAC is to spur the development of impoverished countryside. If approved by the national government the road work will start immediately, it was learned.
